A controlled explosion has been carried out on the Dali, a container ship stuck under the collapsed Francis Scott Key Bridge in Maryland. The blast sent debris into the Patapsco River, seven weeks after the bridge collapsed, killing six people and leaving 21 sailors trapped on board. The crew, including 20 Indians and a Sri Lankan national, have been unable to disembark due to visa restrictions and ongoing investigations by the NTSB and FBI. The ship was on a 27-day journey from Baltimore to Sri Lanka when it struck the bridge, causing significant damage.
