Turkey has deployed a drone and rescue teams to aid in locating the helicopter carrying Iranian President Ebrahim Raisi, which crashed in northern Iran on Sunday. Despite foggy and cold conditions, the Turkish drone has been providing live footage of the search area. Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan expressed solidarity with Iran and readiness to offer further support. The Turkish Disaster and Emergency Management Authority sent 32 mountaineers and six vehicles to assist.
