Three Indian-American students, Aryan Joshi, Sriya Avasarala, and Anvi Sharma, were killed, and two others injured in a car accident in Alpharetta, Georgia, on May 14. The crash occurred on Westside Parkway due to speeding, causing the vehicle to overturn. Joshi, a senior at Alpharetta High School, and Avasarala, a University of Georgia student, died at the scene, while Sharma succumbed to her injuries at North Fulton Hospital. Injured were Rithwak Somepalli, the driver, and Mohammed Liyakath. The incident has deeply affected the local community.
