Indian officials have not responded to the ABC report. Two Indian operatives were reportedly expelled from Australia in 2020 following an ASIO operation.

Kulwinder Singh Sohi, a 26-year-old Indian national, was fatally stabbed in White Rock, Canada. Sohi, a plumber, was involved in a physical altercation with the attacker before being chased down and collapsing. A 28-year-old suspect has been arrested, but their identity remains undisclosed.
