Delhi's Rouse Avenue court has ordered a fresh FIR against AAP chief Arvind Kejriwal and party leaders for allegedly misusing public funds for hoardings in Dwarka in 2019. The case was heard by Additional Chief Judicial Magistrate Neha Mittal. This comes weeks after AAP lost power to BJP in Delhi. Kejriwal, who lost to BJP’s Parvesh Verma, is out on bail in the excise policy case. BJP has also accused AAP of corruption in 'Mohalla Clinics.' Kejriwal is currently on a Vipassana retreat in Punjab amid reported turmoil in AAP's Punjab unit.

The Enforcement Directorate (ED) raided 14 locations in Chhattisgarh’s Durg district, including properties linked to ex-CM Bhupesh Baghel and his son, Chaitanya, in the ₹4,000-crore liquor scam probe. Investigators allege Chaitanya received proceeds from the ₹2,161-crore fraud. Baghel’s office called it a “political conspiracy.” The probe, which began in 2023, exposed a nexus of politicians, bureaucrats, and liquor dealers. Former excise minister Kawasi Lakma was arrested earlier. ED claims illicit liquor sales caused massive state losses. The raids signal a deepening political and legal crisis for Baghel.

Vice President Jagdeep Dhankhar was admitted to AIIMS Delhi’s Cardiac Department on Sunday after experiencing chest pain and uneasiness. Prime Minister Narendra Modi visited him at the hospital and later posted on X, stating he had enquired about Dhankhar’s health and prayed for his speedy recovery.
