Kishor, who has been vocal about the BJP’s prospects, reiterated that the party is likely to secure around 300 seats in the Lok Sabha elections, mirroring its 2019 performance. He emphasized that BJP maintains strong support in western and northern India, with gains in eastern and southern regions. Kishor's statements highlight his confidence in the BJP’s continued dominance.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi is set for a packed schedule with seven key meetings. He will begin with a review of the post-cyclone situation in the northeastern states, assessing damage and planning long-term rehabilitation. Modi will then address the ongoing heatwave crisis affecting large parts of India. Meanwhile, the Sikkim Krantikari Morcha (SKM) is on course for a sweeping victory, having secured 7 seats and leading in 24 more, ensuring Prem Singh Tamang’s continued leadership. The National People's Party (NPP) leads in 6 seats in Arunachal Pradesh. The elections on April 19 saw a turnout of over 79% in Sikkim and nearly 83% in Arunachal Pradesh.

Following the six-week 2024 Lok Sabha elections, exit polls predict a major win for the ruling BJP-led NDA. Twelve exit polls, including India Today- Axis My India and News 24-Today's Chanakya, forecast the NDA securing between 342 to 401 seats. They also predict NDA dominance in Karnataka and Maharashtra, and a poor showing for the Left-led alliance in Kerala. In West Bengal, the BJP is expected to improve, potentially becoming the largest party. Despite a challenging campaign, Prime Minister Narendra Modi and the BJP are anticipated to secure a third consecutive term. However, exit polls have limitations and are not always accurate.

Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal will return to Tihar jail today as his interim bail in a corruption case linked to the Delhi liquor policy ends. Granted bail by the Supreme Court to campaign for the Lok Sabha elections, Kejriwal must surrender a day after the final polling phase. His bail application will be heard by a Delhi court on June 5. The 55-year-old AAP leader announced he will leave his residence at 3 PM to surrender. Kejriwal's legal team is hopeful for a favorable outcome at the upcoming hearing, which could potentially see him released pending trial.

According to the News18 Mega Exit Poll, the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) is poised for a historic third term under Prime Minister Narendra Modi, projected to win between 305 and 315 Lok Sabha seats. The National Democratic Alliance (NDA) is expected to secure a robust 355 to 370 seats overall. Meanwhile, the Congress may clinch only 62-72 seats, with its INDIA bloc tallying 125-140. The poll predicts the BJP maintaining its stronghold in key states and an improved performance in the south and West Bengal, setting the stage for Modi 3.0.

The BJP-led NDA is predicted to win 68-71 of the 80 Lok Sabha seats in Uttar Pradesh, according to News18's Mega Exit Poll. BJP alone is expected to secure 64-67 seats. The Congress-led INDIA alliance is projected to win 9-12 seats, with Congress itself potentially claiming 3-6. Uttar Pradesh, a significant political battleground, saw high-profile candidates like Narendra Modi (Varanasi) and Akhilesh Yadav (Kannauj). In 2019, the BJP won 64 seats, and this exit poll suggests a continued strong performance for the NDA in the state. Final results will be announced on June 4.

The NDA, comprising BJP, Chandrababu Naidu's TDP, and Pawan Kalyan's Jana Sena Party, is predicted to secure 21-23 out of 25 Lok Sabha seats in Andhra Pradesh, according to the India Today-Axis My India exit poll. The TDP is expected to win 13-15 seats, BJP 4-6, and Jana Sena Party 2 seats. Jagan Mohan Reddy's YSR Congress Party, contesting alone, may win only 2-4 seats. The election was held in a single phase on May 13, with results to be announced on June 4. The poll indicates a significant setback for the YSRCP.

The News18 Mega Exit Poll forecasts the BJP retaining 5-7 seats in Delhi's Lok Sabha elections. The Congress may secure 0-2 seats, while its INDIA bloc partner, AAP, might not win any. The voter turnout on May 25 was over 54%, with the highest in North East Delhi (58.30%) and the lowest in New Delhi (51.54%). This election marks the first alliance between AAP and Congress in Delhi, contesting under a four-three seat-share formula. Despite the alliance, the AAP's claim of sweeping all seven seats seems unlikely according to the exit poll predictions.
