Telugu Desam Party (TDP) leader Chandrababu Naidu is set to demand the Speaker's post and other concessions at the NDA meeting in Delhi. Despite TDP's crucial support in Andhra Pradesh, no communication has been made by the Opposition INDIA alliance. Bihar's Chief Minister Nitish Kumar will also attend the meeting. TDP and JDU will submit letters of support to BJP, bolstering NDA's claim to form the government. In the 2024 Lok Sabha elections, NDA secured 292 seats, with BJP winning 240 seats, while the INDIA alliance obtained 234 seats, with Congress gaining 99 seats.
