Shiv Sena (UBT) reminded TDP chief Chandrababu Naidu and JDU’s Nitish Kumar about their past treatment by the BJP. Sena leader Arvind Sawant urged them to consider joining the opposition instead. Uddhav Thackeray, Sena (UBT) chief, skipped the INDIA bloc meeting in Delhi but sent Sanjay Raut as the party’s representative. Raut stated the party would support Rahul Gandhi as the opposition's prime ministerial candidate. He also criticized PM Modi, saying the BJP's failure to get a majority was a moral defeat. The INDIA bloc is strategizing after winning 232 seats in the Lok Sabha elections.
