The National Democratic Alliance (NDA) has chosen Prime Minister Narendra Modi as its leader for a third consecutive term. The announcement came after a meeting with key allies like Nitish Kumar, Chandrababu Naidu, and Eknath Shinde. The NDA secured 293 seats in the Lok Sabha, with the BJP winning 240 seats. PM Modi's re-election marks him as the second PM after Jawaharlal Nehru to achieve this milestone. Despite not winning a majority alone, the BJP will form the government with support from its allies. The NDA praised Modi’s leadership and pro-people policies.
