Prime Minister Narendra Modi was chosen as the leader of the National Democratic Alliance (NDA) after their Lok Sabha election victory. In the first meeting post-election, Modi promised to further national progress and fulfill regional aspirations. "We will serve the 140 crore people of India and work towards building a Viksit Bharat," he said. The NDA, including leaders like Nitish Kumar and N Chandrababu Naidu, supported Modi unanimously. The NDA won 292 seats, with BJP securing 240. Despite BJP falling short of the majority, the alliance aims to improve living standards and preserve India's heritage.
