The BJP accused Rahul Gandhi of trying to scare domestic and foreign investors by alleging a ₹30 lakh crore stock market scam. Union Minister Piyush Goyal dismissed Gandhi's demand for a Joint Parliamentary Committee (JPC) probe, calling his comments baseless. Goyal claimed domestic investors benefitted while foreign investors lost money. He noted that the stock market rose with Modi's re-election, showing investor confidence. Goyal emphasized the market's growth under the BJP, with domestic investors now holding 84% market share. The mutual fund industry also surged to ₹56 lakh crore from ₹10 lakh crore since 2014.
