Election strategist Prashant Kishor acknowledged his incorrect prediction for the 2024 Lok Sabha elections, admitting a significant miss in his seat projections. Kishor, who forecasted the BJP’s seat tally to be near or surpass 303, expressed his readiness to "eat the humble pie" after the BJP secured only 240 seats. The BJP-led NDA, which won 293 seats overall, now relies on allies like TDP and JD(U) for a majority. Kishor, who helped strategize the BJP's 2014 victory, stated he would no longer predict seat counts in future elections, noting a 20% deviation from his estimates.
