During the swearing-in ceremony at Rashtrapati Bhavan, BJP's NDA allies joined the Union government. JD(S) leader HD Kumaraswamy and ex-Bihar CM Jitan Ram Manjhi were among those sworn in. Other allies, including TDP's Ram Mohan Naidu and JD(U)'s Rajiv Ranjan Singh, also took oath. The BJP-led NDA secured 293 seats in the Lok Sabha polls, with BJP holding 240 seats. The breakdown of ministerial berths shows BJP with 61 and allies with 11, including TDP, JD(U), LJP, JD(S), Shiv Sena, RPI(A), RLD, Apna Dal, and HAM.
