Ex-Chief Ministers Secure Key Portfolios in Modi 3.0 Cabinet

In Prime Minister Narendra Modi's new Cabinet, six former Chief Ministers have been appointed to significant ministries. Shivraj Singh Chauhan, ex-MP Chief Minister, now heads the Agriculture Ministry. Former Haryana CM Manohar Lal Khattar is in charge of Power and Urban Affairs. Jitan Ram Manjhi, former Bihar CM, leads the MSME Ministry. Rajnath Singh retains Defence, while Sarbananda Sonowal, ex-Assam CM, oversees Ports, Shipping, and Waterways. The ex-Karnataka CM from JDS manages Heavy Industries and Steel. Key portfolios were also retained by Amit Shah (Home), Nirmala Sitharaman (Finance), and others.
