TDP leader Gourinath Chowdary was killed in Andhra Pradesh's Kurnool district, allegedly attacked with knives and axes by YSR Congress Party (YSRCP) workers, including Pamayya and Ramakrishna, in Bommirreddipalle village. The incident has heightened local tensions, prompting police to deploy forces and establish a picket for maintaining law and order. Kurnool's Superintendent of Police assured residents of strict security measures. TDP General Secretary Nara Lokesh, son of CM-designate N Chandrababu Naidu, condemned the attack and accused outgoing CM YS Jagan Mohan Reddy of targeting political rivals.
