Nassau County International Stadium in New York is being dismantled following the ICC T20 World Cup match between India and the USA. The stadium, located in Eisenhower Park, hosted eight Group Stage matches, including India's win over Pakistan. Throughout the tournament, criticism surrounded the stadium's slow outfield and unpredictable pitches, which drew scrutiny from players past and present. The venue utilizes drop-in pitches prepared off-site before each match. Temporary stands, accommodating up to 34,000 spectators and designed by Populous, were quickly erected. The turf was supplied by LandTek Group, known for their work with New York's Major League Baseball teams and Inter Miami Major League Soccer team.
