Delhi High Court Halts Arvind Kejriwal's Bail, ED Alleges Trial Judge Rushed Case

The Delhi High Court has temporarily halted Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal's bail granted by a lower court in a money laundering case related to a defunct excise policy. The Enforcement Directorate (ED) contested the bail order, asserting they were not given adequate opportunity to present their case. Additional Solicitor General SV Raju criticized the trial court's handling, claiming the judge hurriedly disposed of the matter without fully reviewing the evidence. Kejriwal, arrested in March, will remain in custody pending further High Court proceedings amid ongoing legal challenges.
