Afghanistan will once again play their home matches in Greater Noida's Shahid Vijay Singh Pathik Sports Complex after a four-year gap. The BCCI has given the nod for Afghanistan to host Bangladesh for three ODIs and three T20Is in July-August. Bangladesh will arrive on July 22 and the ODI series will begin on July 25, followed by T20Is from August 2-6. The Indian cricket board has allotted two home venues to Afghanistan - Greater Noida and Kanpur. This arrangement is part of a 2015 MoU between the ACB and BCCI, which has seen Afghanistan play their home games in various Indian venues.
