Pat Cummins has become the first bowler in Twenty20 World Cup history to take hat-tricks in consecutive matches. The Australian paceman achieved the feat against Afghanistan on Saturday, dismissing three batsmen in successive deliveries, just like he did against Bangladesh on Thursday. Cummins took the wickets of Rashid Khan, Karim Janat, and Gulbadin Naib to etch his name in the record books. The 31-year-old celebrated his achievement with a fist pump and a huge smile, acknowledging he was aware of the feat this time around. Cummins joins Brett Lee as the only Australian bowlers to take a hat-trick in the tournament.
