Kejriwal Granted Concessions During CBI Custody, Allowed Gita and Home-Cooked Food

Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal has been remanded to three-day CBI custody in connection with the liquor policy case. The Rouse Avenue Court granted him concessions including home-cooked food, prescribed medication, his spectacles, a copy of the Bhagavad Gita, and an hour daily to meet his wife and relatives. Kejriwal, who reads the Gita every evening, sought a belt for Tihar Jail, but the court denied this request. He will be produced before the court by 7 pm on June 29.
