India's cricket team is returning home after winning the T20 World Cup 2024 in Barbados. Due to Hurricane Beryl, the team was stranded in the Caribbean island nation. A special Air India chartered flight departed from Barbados on July 3 to bring the team back home. The flight is expected to land in Delhi at 6 AM on July 4. The team will meet with Prime Minister Narendra Modi before flying to Mumbai. The team's victory was on June 29, and they were unable to fly out due to the hurricane. The BCCI arranged the special flight to ensure their safe return.
