The Delhi police have heightened security measures ahead of the Indian cricket team's arrival on Thursday. The team is expected to land at 6 am at IGI Airport and will be escorted to ITC Maurya Hotel with armed policemen. Fans are expected to gather along the routes and outside the hotel to celebrate the team's arrival. Adequate police force and paramilitary personnel will be deployed to ensure a smooth passage. The team will meet Prime Minister Narendra Modi at 11 am and later head to Mumbai for a victory parade.
