Voting for bypolls in 13 assembly seats across seven states began on Wednesday, with polls open from 7 am to 6 pm. The states include Bihar, West Bengal, Tamil Nadu, Madhya Pradesh, Uttarakhand, Punjab, and Himachal Pradesh. The bypolls were necessitated by vacancies due to deaths and resignations of MLAs.
