The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has declined the Pakistan Cricket Board's (PCB) proposal to host the Champions Trophy in Pakistan. India has refused to travel to Pakistan for the tournament, citing security concerns. Instead, the BCCI suggests hosting the tournament in a hybrid model, with matches played in neutral venues in the UAE, Dubai, or Sri Lanka. The PCB had proposed hosting the India-Pakistan match in Lahore, but India's concerns have led to the rejection. The decision is subject to International Cricket Council (ICC) approval.
