A terrorist attack in Desa forests, Doda district, Jammu, has claimed the lives of an Army officer and three troopers. The attack, the sixth in the region this year, occurred during a cordon and search operation by Rashtriya Rifles and J&K Police's SOG. The terrorists fired at the joint team, injuring several personnel, including a policeman. Security forces chased the terrorists, leading to another exchange of fire in the woods. The martyred officer was a Major from 10 Rashtriya Rifles. The search operation is ongoing.
