The Karnataka Cabinet has approved a bill mandating 100% reservation for Kannadigas in private sector Group C and D posts. The bill also directs 50% of management positions and 75% of non-management positions to be filled by local candidates. The decision aims to prevent Kannadigas from being deprived of jobs in their state and ensure their welfare. The bill will be tabled in the Assembly on Thursday. Chief Minister Siddaramaiah termed his government "pro-Kannada", prioritizing the welfare of Kannadigas.
