Probationary IAS officer Pooja Khedkar has filed a harassment complaint against Pune District Collector Suhas Diwase. Khedkar submitted the complaint to Washim police on July 15, and it was transferred to Pune police for investigation. The Crime Branch is expected to handle the case and record Diwase’s statement soon. The decision to file an FIR will be made following the investigation. Khedkar had previously faced scrutiny for allegedly faking disabilities and demanding unauthorized perks during her posting as assistant collector in Pune. Women police officers visited Khedkar’s residence in Washim to take her complaint.
