The outage affected services like bookings, check-ins, and boarding processes, necessitating manual operations and leading to long airport queues. Other airlines also experienced delays and urged passengers to check flight statuses before arriving at airports. The Civil Aviation Ministry and Airports Authority of India have implemented manual backup systems to maintain continuity and deployed extra staff to assist passengers. Refunds and rebooking options are temporarily unavailable. Union Minister Ram Mohan Naidu assured active management of the situation.
