The Indian contingent made a stunning appearance at the Paris Olympics opening ceremony, showcasing a unique blend of tri-color in their traditional attire. The men wore kurtas, while the women were dressed in sarees. A total of 78 Indian athletes, along with officials from 12 disciplines, participated in the Parade of Nations, arriving via boats on the Seine River. PV Sindhu, who held the national flag, expressed her immense pride. The ceremony, for the first time outside a traditional stadium, started at Austerlitz Bridge and ended at Trocadéro near the Eiffel Tower.
