Athletes at the Paris Olympics have complained about a food shortage, with eggs and grilled meats in short supply. The official catering partner, Sodexo Live!, has acknowledged the issue and promised to increase quantities to meet demand. The Olympic Village aims to serve 13 million meals during the Games, feeding 15,000 athletes, support teams, and officials. Suppliers have been asked to increase food quantities, a task equivalent to catering for 10 football World Cups. The issue is being addressed to ensure athletes receive adequate nutrition during the competition.
