After a 34-year hiatus, India will host the 2025 Men's Asia Cup, as announced by the Asian Cricket Council (ACC). This will be India's first time hosting the tournament since 1990/91. The 2025 edition will feature T20 matches, while the 2027 tournament in Bangladesh will be played in the ODI format. India is also set to host multiple ICC events in the coming years, including the 2025 Women's Cricket World Cup and the 2026 Men's T20 World Cup. Bangladesh will host the Women's T20 World Cup in 2024 and continue its role in the Asia Cup.
