Rohan Bopanna has announced his retirement from Indian tennis following an early exit at the Paris Olympics 2024. The 44-year-old and his partner N Sriram Balaji were defeated in the opening round of men’s doubles by France's Gael Monfils and Edouard Roger-Vasselin. Reflecting on his career, Bopanna expressed pride in representing India for over two decades, starting in 2002. He ruled out participating in the upcoming Asian Games. Bopanna is celebrated for his 2017 French Open mixed doubles title and becoming the oldest World No. 1 and Grand Slam champion earlier this year.
