The Municipal Corporation of Delhi (MCD) has sealed five more basements of coaching centers, including Drishti IAS and Vajiram and Ravi, in Old Rajinder Nagar. This action follows the deaths of three IAS aspirants due to flooding in Rau's IAS coaching center basement on July 27. The MCD has also removed illegal encroachments and terminated a junior engineer, while suspending an assistant engineer. With 20 basements sealed in two days, civil services aspirants face uncertainty as many classes are canceled. The Ministry of Home Affairs has launched an investigation into the incident.
