Satellite images show China has completed a 400-meter bridge over Pangong Lake in Ladakh, near the Line of Actual Control with India. The bridge, visible in images from July 22, has been black-topped and is being used by light motor vehicles. Experts say the bridge cuts travel time by several hours and reduces distance by 50-100 kilometers, allowing Chinese forces to quickly move troops between the lake's north and south banks. The construction, first revealed in January 2022, gives China a strategic advantage in the region. Satellite imagery confirms the bridge's completion.
