Legendary boxer Mary Kom has praised Manu Bhaker for her historic achievement at the Paris Olympics. Bhaker, alongside Sarabjot Singh, won bronze in the 10m air pistol mixed team event, making her the first Indian female athlete to win multiple medals in a single Olympic edition. The duo defeated South Korea 16-10. Mary Kom called Bhaker’s performance "extraordinary" and a proud moment for all Indians, especially women. Bhaker expressed gratitude and highlighted their determination to keep fighting despite challenges. The victory also marked redemption for Sarabjot Singh after missing the men's final.
