India Wins Bronze in 10m Air Pistol Mixed Team on Day 4 of Paris Olympics; Global Medal Tally Update

On Day 4 of the Paris Olympics 2024, India’s Manu Bhaker and Sarabjot Singh clinched the bronze medal in the 10m air pistol mixed team event, defeating South Korea. This win brings India's total medal count to two, with Bhaker making history as the first Indian athlete to secure two medals in a single Olympic. Boxer Amit Panghal (men’s 51 kg) and Jaismine Lamboria (women’s 57 kg) were eliminated, while Preeti Pawar is scheduled to compete later. Archery competitor Bhajan Kaur advanced to the Round of 16, and the men’s hockey team won 2-0 against Ireland.l obally, Japan leads with 13 medals (7 gold, 2 silver, 4 bronze), China follows with 14 medals (6 gold, 6 silver, 2 bronze), Australia has 10 medals (6 gold, 4 silver), and France tops with 17 medals (5 gold, 8 silver, 4 bronze). India is currently 33rd with 2 bronze medals.
