Dr. Peggy Whitson, America's most experienced astronaut, will command the Axiom-4 mission, which includes Indian astronaut Group Captain Shubhanshu Shukla. Scheduled for early 2025, the mission to the International Space Station (ISS) will also feature Polish and Hungarian astronauts. Whitson, with four space flights and over 675 days in space, is renowned for her expertise in spacewalks and leadership roles at NASA. She now works with Axiom Space and will lead the mission alongside Shukla, who will pilot the Crew Dragon spacecraft.
