The Gujarat Congress will kick off a ‘Nyay Padyatra’ (justice march) on August 9 to demand accountability for recent tragedies in the state, including the Morbi bridge collapse, the TRP Game zone fire in Rajkot, and the Harni Lake tragedy in Vadodara. Led by Congress Seva Dal chief Lalji Desai, Gujarat Congress President Shaktisinh Gohil, and MLA Jignesh Mevani, the march will start in Morbi and end in Gandhinagar on August 22. Senior Congress leaders, including Rahul Gandhi and Mallikarjun Kharge, are expected to join. The march aims to highlight systemic corruption under the BJP-led government.
