The Court of Arbitration for Sport (CAS) has postponed its verdict on Vinesh Phogat's appeal against her Paris Olympics disqualification. Originally set for August 11, the final decision will now be announced by August 13, 2024, with the announcement time unchanged at 6 pm local time (9.30 pm IST). Phogat, disqualified for being 100 grams overweight before her final bout, had appealed against the ruling. The extended deadline allows both parties to present additional arguments.
