Kolkata police have revealed that Sanjay Roy, accused of raping and murdering a postgraduate doctor at RG Kar Medical College and Hospital, consumed alcohol before the crime. Sources stated Roy drank behind the hospital around 11 pm and had a history of watching violent pornography. Police found disturbing content on his phone, suggesting a "perverted mind." Roy, who tried to destroy evidence by washing bloodstains, was arrested intoxicated. The victim, 31, had severe injuries, including bleeding from her private parts. Roy is in custody until August 23, charged with rape and murder.
