The autopsy of the trainee doctor raped and murdered at Kolkata’s RG Kar Medical College and Hospital revealed she was strangled, with her thyroid cartilage broken. The report detailed severe injuries, including genital torture and wounds on her belly, lips, fingers, and left leg. The attack occurred between 3 am and 5 am on August 9. Sanjoy Roy, a civic volunteer, has been arrested based on CCTV footage.
