Arshad Nadeem, Pakistan's Olympic javelin throw champion, was awarded 10 million rupees and a brand new car by the Punjab government on Tuesday. The car’s number plate features "92.97," representing the distance Nadeem threw to set a new Olympic record, securing gold at the Paris 2024 Olympics. Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz presented the keys to Nadeem during her visit to his village in Mian Chunnu. She praised Nadeem for bringing pride to the nation. The CM also awarded 50 lakh rupees to Nadeem's coach, Salman Iqbal Butt, before returning to Lahore.
