A post-mortem report of the thirty-one-year-old trainee doctor found murdered at Kolkata's RG Kar Hospital suggests she was gang-raped, according to Dr. Subarna Goswami. The report indicated one hundred fifty-one grams of liquid from the vaginal swab, pointing to multiple attackers. Dr. Goswami emphasized that the nature of injuries on the victim’s body could not be inflicted by one person. The victim's body was discovered semi-naked with signs of severe violence, including a broken thyroid cartilage and genital torture.
