Vinesh Phogat’s appeal for a joint silver medal at the Paris Olympics 2024 has been dismissed by the Court of Arbitration for Sport (CAS). The CAS upheld the International Olympic Committee's decision to disqualify Phogat from the women’s 50kg final due to being 100 grams over the weight limit. The decision, announced on August 14, means India will not secure a seventh medal at the Games.
