CBI Questions Three Forensic Doctors And Hospital Officials In Kolkata Rape-Murder Case

The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) on Thursday questioned three forensic doctors who conducted the post-mortem examination on a junior doctor allegedly raped and murdered at Kolkata's RG Kar Medical College. The prime suspect, Sanjay Roy, a civic volunteer, was arrested on August 10. The CBI also interrogated Dr. Arunava Dutta Chowdhury, the chest department head, and former superintendent Dr. Sanjay Vashisth. The CBI, following a court order, is investigating potential insider involvement. The probe comes amid rising public outrage and the victim’s family’s demand for justice.
