Doctors across India are planning a special Rakhi celebration on Monday, August 19, in memory of the recent RG Kar Medical College incident. Organized by the Joint Platform of Doctors, the event will see participants, dubbed "Abhaya’s brothers," wearing black ribbons to symbolize their commitment to justice. The program will begin at RG Kar College and spread nationwide, emphasizing the promise to protect. After the event, senior doctors will march to Lalbazar, where two doctors, Dr. Kunal Sarkar and Dr. Subarna Goswami, are expected to be questioned by the police regarding the incident.
