Dr Sandip Ghosh, former principal of Kolkata’s RG Kar Medical College, is accused of running a "mafia-like operation" following the rape and murder of a trainee doctor. His ex-colleagues allege corruption, misconduct, and unethical practices, including financial extortion and manipulating tenders. Despite resigning after the rape case, Ghosh was quickly appointed to another state-run hospital. The CBI has questioned him multiple times as part of their ongoing investigation.
