Resident doctors from AIIMS and other Delhi hospitals will begin a protest by offering OPD services outside Nirman Bhawan, where the Union Health Ministry is located, starting Monday, August 19. This unique protest is in response to the brutal rape and murder of a woman trainee doctor at Kolkata's RG Kar hospital. The Resident Doctors' Association announced that academic activities, elective OPDs, and other non-emergency services will remain suspended until their demands for better protection are addressed.
