Five individuals, including three drivers, a conductor, and a cashier, have been arrested for allegedly gang-raping a teenage girl in a government bus at Dehradun's Interstate Bus Terminal (ISBT) on August 12. The victim, initially reported as an orphan from Punjab, later identified herself as a resident of Moradabad, Uttar Pradesh. She had traveled to Dehradun from Delhi. The accused, Dharmendra Kumar, Rajpal, Devendra, Rajesh Kumar Sonkar, and Ravi Kumar, were identified through CCTV footage. The police action followed a complaint registered on August 17, based on the victim's detailed account.
