In Moradabad, Uttar Pradesh, a doctor was arrested for allegedly raping a 20-year-old Dalit nurse at his residence on Saturday night. The incident was reported after the nurse's father lodged an FIR. The police also arrested a nurse and a ward boy for forcibly bringing the victim to the doctor's home and locking her inside. The doctor, who runs a private hospital, faces charges under the Scheduled Caste and Scheduled Tribe (Prevention of Atrocities) Act and the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS) sections. The hospital has been sealed, and all accused are in judicial custody.
